Ingredients for Gajar Puri - SK Khazana Recipe

  • carrot puree 1 cup

  • whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cups

  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • carom seeds 1/4 teaspoon

  • salt to taste

  • coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • oil 1 tablespo as required


Step 1

In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, red chilli powder, carom seeds, salt, chopped coriander, 1 tbsp oil, and carrot puree and mix well. Knead to a stiff dough.

Step 2

Divide the dough into equal portions. Grease the worktop with oil, place and roll out each portion into a small disc or puri.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the prepared puris till puffed up. Serve hot with aloo sabzi.
