By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken, Eggs Cuisine American Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Maryland 800 grams Chicken cut into 8 pieces to taste Eggs to taste Black peppercorns crushed 2 teaspoons Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Mustard powder 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 3 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 2 Eggs to deep fry Oil 1/2 cup Bread crumbs Method Sprinkle salt, crushed peppercorns and lemon juice on the chicken pieces. Place them in a pressure cooker, add half a cup of water and cook under pressure for one whistle. Remove and pat the chicken pieces dry. Add salt, red chilli powder, mustard powder and coriander leaves to the refined flour and place the mixture on a plate. Separate the egg yolks and whites and beat the egg whites. Roll the chicken pieces in the spiced refined flour so that they are well coated. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the flour coated chicken pieces in the beaten egg whites and roll in the breadcrumbs and deep fry on medium heat for four to five minutes or until golden brown. Drain and place on an absorbent paper. Serve hot with green salad or barbeque sauce.
