Ingredients for Cake Pops Recipe

  • Vanilla sponge cake 1/2 eight-

  • Dark chocolate chopped 1 1/2 cups

  • Sugar syrup 2-3 tablespoons

  • Colourful candied vermicelli for decorating


Step 1

Take dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Step 2

Tear the cake into pieces, put it in a chopper jar and process to make crumbs.

Step 3

Transfer the crumbs into a bowl, add sugar syrup and mix. Divide the mixture into small equal portions and shape them into balls. Put them into individual paper cups, arrange them on a plate, prick a toothpick into each ball and keep the plate in the refrigerator to chill.

Step 4

Put some colourful candied vermicelli into empty paper cups. Dip each cake ball in the melted chocolate and keep each of them in a paper cup with the vermicelli.

Step 5

Sprinkle some more vermicelli over the pops, keep them in the refrigerator to set.

Step 6

Arrange them on a serving platter and serve chilled.
