Ingredients list for Angel Food Cake
- 6 tablespoons Refined flour
Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C. Place egg whites in a cake batter mixer. Combine half the sugar with egg white powder and add this to egg whites. Whisk well until light and fluffy. Add salt and continue to whisk.
- Sift remaining sugar with refined flour in a bowl. Add almond essence and vanilla essence to eggs and whisk well.Transfer egg mixture in a bowl and fold in flour mixture in three batches.
- Transfer the batter into cake tins and place in preheated oven. Bake for 25-40 minutes. Remove from heat and place the tin upside down on a cooling rack. Remove cake from mould.
- Slice cake and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
- Serve.
