Ingredients list for tandoori mushroom
- 20 medium Button Mushrooms
Method
- Clean, wash and par boil the mushrooms. Peel and cut onions into 1½ inch squares. De-seed and cut capsicums into 1½ inch squares. Halve the tomatoes, remove seeds and cut into 1½ inch squares.
- For marination, beat the yogurt till smooth, add lime juice, turmeric powder, fennel powder, yellow chilli powder, chopped green chillies and seasonings and mix well.
- Marinade the mushrooms and other vegetables in it for 1 hour. Skewer the vegetables onto barbeque sticks in this fashion : three mushroomsfollowed by a capsicum, tomato, onion and end with a mushroomCook them in the tandoor or barbeque for about 10 minutes.
Serve hot with mint chutney and onion salad.
