By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sundried Tomatoes, Mozzarella Cheese Cuisine Italian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Tomato Mozzarella Toasts 3/4 cup Sundried Tomatoes soaked 400 grams Mozzarella Cheese grated 1 French bread diagonally sliced 2 teaspoons Mixed herbs 12-15 Black peppercorns crushed to taste Salt 3 tablespoons Olive oil Method Pre-heat the oven to 220ºC. Drain and then grind the sun-dried tomatoes to a fine paste using little water. Place the French bread slices in a greased baking tray. Spread the sun-dried tomato paste on one side of the toast. Place the grated mozzarella cheese on top of it. Sprinkle the herbs, crushed peppercorns and salt on top. Drizzle olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for five minutes or till the cheese melts.
