Ingredients
- ½ cup sweet corn kernels
- ½ cup cream-style sweet corn
- ¼ small cabbage, finely chopped
- ¼ medium carrot, finely diced
- 4-5 cups vegetable stock
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- White pepper powder to taste
- ½ tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornflour slurry
- 1 stalk spring onion greens, chopped for garnish
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add corn kernels, cabbage and carrot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes and add vegetable stock. Bring it to a boil.
- Mix in the cream-style corn and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt, white pepper powder and sugar. Stir in cornflour the cornflour slurry, mix well and cook on high heat stirring continuously till it thickens.
- Garnish with spring onion greens and serve piping hot.
