Ingredients 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6-8 almonds
  • ¾ cup margarine
  • ½ cup powdered sugar + for coating
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °c.
  2. Sift the flour.
  3. Finely chop the almonds.
  4. Cream the margarine and powdered sugar together.
  5. Add sifted flour, vanilla essence and chopped almonds.
  6. Mix well and form into balls.
  7. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake at 180°C for twenty minutes.
  8. Remove and let cool, then roll in powdered sugar and serve.
