Ingredients list for Smoked Chicken
- 1 cup Chicken cut into small pieces
Method
- Heat olive oil in a non stick pan, add curry leaves and saute till crisp. Drain them and set aside on a plate.
- Add onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and mix well, cover and cook till done. Meanwhile keep the coal on direct flame. Add coconut and coriander leaves to the chicken and mix well.
- Put the burning coal in a bowl and place the bowl in the pan amid the chicken pieces. Place cloves on the coal and drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Cover the pan tightly and let it remain for 15-20 mins. Garnish with the sauteed curry leaves and serve hot.
