Ingredients for Shengdanyachi Amti Recipe

  • Peanuts roasted and peeled 2 cups

  • Ghee 3 tablespoons

  • Green chillies 3-4

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Curry leaves 10-12

  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Kokum petals 4-5

  • Salt to taste

  • Sugar 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Grind peanuts with a little water.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Slit green chillies.

Step 3

Add cumin seeds to the pan and saute till it begins to change colour. Add green chillies and curry leaves and saute for ½ minute.

Step 4

Add red chilli powder, ground peanuts and kokum and mix well. Add salt and sugar and mix well.

Step 5

Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
