Ingredients list for Sevian
- 100 grams Vermicelli
Method
- Boil the milk till it is reduced to half.
Take out one-fourth cup of milk and dissolve saffron in it. Add sugar to the remaining milk and cook till the sugar is dissolved.
Remove and keep aside. - Blanch almonds and pistachio, remove peel and cut into slivers.
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the sevian till lightly browned. Add reduced sweetened milk and bring to a boil. - Lower the heat and cook for three to five minutes.
Add dissolved saffron, almond and pistachio slivers and mix. Add cardamom powder and mix.
Finish with chandi ka varq and serve.
