Ingredients list for Raw Banana Curry

  • 4 Raw bananas


  1. Trim off stems, halve the bananas and boil them in water with a little salt. Chop onions. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal and chana dal and sauté till light brown. Chop green chillies. Add curry leaves and onions to pan and continue to sauté.
  2. When bananas are half done, drain them, cool, peel and grate thickly. Add green chillies to onions and sauté for ½ minute. Add grated bananas, salt and mix well. Cook till heated through. Add juice of a lemon and mix. Add coconut and mix.
  3. Chop coriander leaves and add. Mix and serve hot.
