Ingredients list for Quick Jeera Chicken -SK Khazana
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
 - 500 grams boneless chicken breast
 - 3 tablespoons oil
 - 4 green chillies sliced
 - 1 onion large, sliced
 - 1 1/2 teaspoons red chilli powder
 - 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - salt to taste
 - 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
 - 3 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves chopped
 - Fresh coriander sprig for garnish
 
Method
- Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes and set aside.
 - Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add green chillies and sauté for a minute.
 - Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add chicken pieces and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
 - Cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix. Take the pan off the heat and transfer jeera chicken into a serving bowl.
Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
