Ingredients

  • 400 grams okra (bhindi), ends trimmed and cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add okra and mix.  
  2. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well and let it cook for eight to ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
