Ingredients
- 250 grams ladyfingers (bhindi), cut into cylinders
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies, slit
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and green chillies. Sauté for half a minute. Add onions and sauté till brown.
- Add ladyfingers and toss to mix. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and amchur. Mix well, lower heat and cook till the vegetable is done.
- Serve hot.
