Ingredients list for Pineapple Flambe

  • 2 slices Pineapples
  • as required Brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Orange juice

Method

  1. Peel and remove the eyes of the pineapple.
  2. Core and cut into 1-cm thick slices.
  3. Melt butter in a pan and add brown sugar.
  4. Melt the sugar and then add the pineapple slices and cook for a while turning them occasionally.
  5. Add orange juice and cook the pineapple in the sauce.
    Add brandy and flambé it.
  6. For serving put the pineapple slices in a plate and pour the sauce over.
