Ingredients list for Pineapple Flambe
- 2 slices Pineapples
- as required Brandy
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Orange juice
Method
- Peel and remove the eyes of the pineapple.
- Core and cut into 1-cm thick slices.
- Melt butter in a pan and add brown sugar.
- Melt the sugar and then add the pineapple slices and cook for a while turning them occasionally.
- Add orange juice and cook the pineapple in the sauce.
Add brandy and flambé it. - For serving put the pineapple slices in a plate and pour the sauce over.
