Ingredients for Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

  • Pizza dough 250 grams

  • Pepperoni 18 slices

  • Refined flour for dusting

  • Olive oil for brushi

  • Pizza sauce for spread

  • Fresh mozzarella slices 22

  • Fresh basil leaves 18


Step 1

Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough on it, knock back to release excess air and knead again.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 3

Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll out into large semi-thick discs, place on a baking tray, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 5-10 minutes

Step 4

Prick the proven discs using a fork and brush some olive oil on top.

Step 5

To prepare each pizza, spread some pizza sauce over each disc, place 11 mozzarella cheese slices, 9 pepperoni slices and 9 fresh basil leaves over the sauce.

Step 6

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven.

Step 7

Cut into wedges and serve hot.
