Ingredients list for Paneer Bhare Papad

  • 4 Moong Dal Papad
  • to deep fry Paneer (if frying)
  • FOR FILLING
  • 1/2 cup Paneer (cottage cheese),grated
  • 2 Green chillies,finely chopped
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium Green capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Halve the papads. Prepare the filling by mixing all the ingredients together. Roast the papads, one piece at a time. While they are still hot, roll to make half inch diameter cylinders.
  2. Spoon in the filling carefully and serve immediately. Alternatively apply little milk or water to the whole papad, put the mixture on one side and roll cylindrically. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry papads in hot oil.
  3. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve immediately.
