Ingredients list for Oats Pancake With Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1/4 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- a few drops Vanilla essence
- as required Maple syrup
Method
- Sieve together refined flour, whole wheat flour, soda bicarbonate and baking powder into a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix. Add eggs and mix. Add buttermilk and mix well to make a smooth batter. Add oatmeal and milk and mix.
- Add a little oil and vanilla essence and mix well. Heat a pan, grease it with a little oil. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread around the pan. Drizzle a little oil all round and let it cook on medium heat for two minutes.
- Flip and cook on the other side. Serve hot with maple syrup. You can also serve it with fresh fruits or with honey.
