Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1¾ cups refined flour (maida)
- ¼ cup cornflour
Method
- Preheat oven to 180ºC. Lightly grease a baking tray.
- Take butter in a mixing bowl and beat with a hand blender till light. Add brown sugar and cream till fluffy.
- Add maple syrup and beat well.
- Sieve in refined flour and cornflour together into the butter mixture. Add walnuts and fold in with a spatula.
- Shape into round cookies and place them at equal distance on the prepared baking tray. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and cool. Arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
