Ingredients list for Kesari Sandesh
- 500 grams Saffron
- 125 grams Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 gram Saffron (kesar)
- a few drops Edible yellow colour
- a few drops Silver warq
Method
- Take fresh chenna and knead it till it is soft and smooth. Add sugar and cook in a pan on slow heat, stirring continuously till it is thick. It should not be very dry.
- Stir in saffron and natural yellow colour. Remove from heat and continue to stir till it is a little cooler and can be handled with hands.
- Shape them into small balls, press them from top lightly. Decorate with silver warq and saffron.
