Ingredients list for Italian Thin Crust Pizza

  • 450 gms + for dusting Refined flour
  • 5 grams Tomato sauce
  • 1½ teaspoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3½ teaspoons olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons grated mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup mixed bell peppers cut into strips and sautéed
  • 1 medium onion cut into strips
  • 8-10 mushrooms sliced and sautéed
  • 7-8 black olives pitted and roughly chopped


  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in ¼ cup lukewarm water.
  2. Combine salt and refined flour in a bowl. Add dissolved yeast mixture and knead into a soft dough using olive oil and sufficient water. Remove the dough from the maker and set aside for 2-3 hours.
  3. Dust the worktop with little flour and spread the dough with your fingers. Roll out into a large thin disc dusting with flour.
  4. Spread tomato sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Place mixed bell peppers, onion, mushrooms and olives on top.
  5. Dust a pizza pale with little flour and slide the pizza onto it. Slide the pizza into a brick pizza oven and bake for 6-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, cut into wedges and serve hot.
