Ingredients list for Ice Cream Sandwich
- 500 grams Chocolate Sponge Cake 2
- 1 litre Vanilla Ice Cream
- as required Malted chocolate powder
- as required Chocolate sauce
Method
- Halve the cakes horizontally. Place one slice at the base of a spring form tin. Cut another slice and use the pieces to fill up the empty space around the first slice.
- Spread chocolate sauce evenly over them followed by a thick layer of vanilla ice cream.
- Sprinkle malted chocolate evenly and drizzle some chocolate sauce. Cover these layers with the remaining cake slices.
- Whisk the remaining ice cream to soften and spread on top. Sprinkle some malted chocolate over the ice cream.
- Keep the tin in the refrigerator to set. When completely set, remove from the spring form tin, cut into wedges and serve immediately.
