Ingredients list for Gajar Puri - SK Khazana
- 1 cup carrot puree
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespo as required oil
Method
- In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, red chilli powder, carom seeds, salt, chopped coriander, 1 tbsp oil, and carrot puree and mix well. Knead to a stiff dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions. Grease the worktop with oil, place and roll out each portion into a small disc or puri.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the prepared puris till puffed up.
Serve hot with aloo sabzi.
