Ingredients list for Chocolate Meringue
- 30 grams Cocoa powder
- 150 grams Icing sugar
- 150 grams Egg whites
- 150 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with butter paper.
- Sieve together the icing sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl. Mix well.
- Cream the egg whites and castor sugar in another bowl with a hand blender.
- Fold in the cocoa powder mixture, little by little, in the egg mixture and mix well.
- Put the mixture in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and seal.
- Pipe out small meringues on the lined baking tray and pat the peaks with your finger. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cool and serve.
