Ingredients list for Chocolate Ki Sevaiyaan

  • 4 tablespoons Chocolate Powder powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Khoya/Mawa
  • 3 tablespo Powdered sugar
  • a pinch Green cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup + Milk powder
  • 1 Vanilla sponge cake

Method

  1. Lightly saute khoya in a non stick pan. Switch off heat, add powdered sugar, chocolate powder, green cardamom powder and mix.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a parat and mix well.
  3. Add ½ cup milk powder and knead into a dough. Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Cut the sponge cake into small rounds with a round cookie cutter.
  5. Halve each round horizontally.Heat a non stick pan, place the cake slices in it and roast them till lightly golden.
  6. Dust a sevaiyaan mould with milk powder.
  7. Transfer the chocolate mixture into the mould and press out the sevaiyaan on the cake slices.
  8. Arrange the cake slices on a serving plate, sprinkle some milk powder and serve.
