Ingredients list for Cake Pops
- 1/2 eight- Vanilla sponge cake
- 1 1/2 cups Dark chocolate chopped
- 2-3 tablespoons Sugar syrup
- for decorating Colourful candied vermicelli
Method
- Take dark chocolate in a bowl and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Tear the cake into pieces, put it in a chopper jar and process to make crumbs.
- Transfer the crumbs into a bowl, add sugar syrup and mix. Divide the mixture into small equal portions and shape them into balls. Put them into individual paper cups, arrange them on a plate, prick a toothpick into each ball and keep the plate in the refrigerator to chill.
- Put some colourful candied vermicelli into empty paper cups. Dip each cake ball in the melted chocolate and keep each of them in a paper cup with the vermicelli.
- Sprinkle some more vermicelli over the pops, keep them in the refrigerator to set.
- Arrange them on a serving platter and serve chilled.
