Ingredients list for Bel ka Sherbet
- 1 Stone apple (belfal) halved and seeded
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons Lemon juice
Method
- Scoop out the flesh of the stone apple with a spoon and put into a non stick pan. Add 4 cups water and heat. Add sugar and mix well.
- Add lemon juice and mix and cook till sugar dissolves.Remove from heat and strain. Set aside to cool then keep in a refrigerator to chill.
- Pour into glasses and serve chilled. You can also soak the pulp in water for a few hours, and then strain the pulp through a sieve.
