Ingredients list for Banana Ada
- 3 Ripe banana
- a pinch Kootoo ka atta
- 2 tablespoons Ghee or butter
- 1 cup Kootoo ka atta
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 cups +2 tablespoons Coconut scraped
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Peel and mash bananas. Boil one cup of water in a pan along with salt and butter. When it starts to boil vigorously add kootoo ka atta and stir well. Add sugar and two cups of scraped coconut and mix well.
- Add mashed bananas and mix to make a smooth dough. Make twelve to fourteen even sized balls of the dough. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry for five to six minutes or till golden brown.
- Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot garnished with the remaining coconut.
