Ingredients list for Apple And Date Balls
- 500 grams Apples
- 50 grams Dates stoned and chopped
- 1/2 cup Apple juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1/4 cup Walnut kernels chopped
Method
- Halve the unpeeled apples, remove cores and place in a large heavy bottomed pan. Add the dates, apple juice and ground cinnamon.
- Cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture forms a dry paste. Remove into a bowl and let cool. Roll the mixture into bite sized balls.
- Place walnuts under a hot grill. Toast until golden. Coat the balls in the nuts. Store in an airtight container.
