500 grams of wafer potatoes

250 grams of raw peanuts

1 small packet of rock salt

1 fresh coconut

100 grams of cashewnuts

100 grams of raisins

250 grams of sago

100 grams of khoya

100 grams of almonds

1 small packet of cardamom powder

For faster preparation

For chiwda peel and grate the potatoes and set aside in water. Deep fry the potatoes till golden brown in colour by removing excess water from them. Then deep fry the peanuts and later green chillies in the same oil. Drain and cool down to room temperature. Mix the fried ingredients along with powdered sugar and rock salt.Store in an air tight container. Make ginger and green chilli paste for pattice. Then chopped cashewnuts roast the peanuts and crush them. Scrap the coconut. Boil, peel and grate the potatoes. Make the pattice stuffing and the potatoes mixture. Stuff the coconut mixture in potatoes and set aside. Soak the sago overnight. Chop the nuts for kheer and grate the khoya.

How to go about it

Start by cooking the sago with water and then add milk and khoya. Sauté nuts and raisins in ghee until golden brown in colour. Add to the sago mixture and finish it with sugar and cardamom powder. Then deep fry the pattice, drain and serve.
