Right from recipe suggestions to quantifying ingredients to doing the actually cooking on it – set to release by 2025, this multipurpose smart table top is probably the only kitchen device you will ever need!

The smart kitchen table literally narrows down all your kitchen activity to it. Start with placing the ingredients you have on the smart board and within a matter of seconds a screen will display an assortment of recipes you can make with it. Once you narrow down on the recipe it even guides you through the entire process of making it, on real time basis.  That sorts out menu planning in a jiffy!

The fact that it suggests you recipes to the T is enough to make it a must have, but that is just the beginning. Inbuilt scales on the cooktop also help measure and quantify ingredients, so you can be sure of the recipe being precise. It also comes with an induction plate fitted somewhere on the board – so you can do all your cooking right there too! The panel is controlled with sensors and it tells you exactly when the pan is hot enough to start cooking and even lets you know just about when your food should be ready! So you can pretty much build all your kitchen activity around this one smart table top!

Augmented reality

The smart kitchen table is roughly built along the lines of virtual or augmented reality where a camera fitted above the table uses a smart light projection that brings to life inanimate objects and connects it with the huge amount of inbuilt data on the device. The most relevant of that information is then projected on the screen. All you have to do next is just follow the set of instructions to exact specifications and the perfect dinner will be ready.

Only time will tell how feasible this device will turn out to be but as of now 2025 seems like a really long wait!
