Make all your appliances accessible

If you love having all sorts of kitchen appliances in your kitchen, it would be apt to have them within a hand’s reach so that you can make the most of their convenience in cooking. If you love gadgets and want to keep buying more and more of them, the thought of how to store them in the limited space in your kitchen might just stop you from more shopping.

Storage space needs to be hunted out in the kitchen. If space allows, designate a space just for small kitchen appliances. Wouldn’t that be just wonderful! So when you scout around the kitchen for more storage look high and low. Also do not forget about your wall space. Adding some more shelves will help immensely.

The space between the upper cabinets and the ceiling, though often over-looked, can be used to put away less needed items and space can be made in the kitchen at more accessible shelves to place your gadgets. Place those appliances you use most frequently where they can be accessed easily. Those less frequently used should still be able to be reached, but not in the most convenient location.

If you store appliances where they can be seen, try to limit it to the newer, more attractive appliances. This will certainly beautify the kitchen some more. To make space, first discard the appliances you do not use any more. May be there are things that have not been working and you never had the time to get them repaired.

Let’s study the special shelving system. Put lighter appliances on the upper shelves so that it is easy to bring them down without much effort or fear of mishandling them. Heavy appliances should be stored on the bottom shelf. Keeping all the appliances together makes so much more sense.

Now all those electrical cords! Keep them tied up neatly with twist ties. Do not use rubber bands as they tend to break.
