True blue beer lovers can guzzle this liquid gold in any form on any given day, but International Beer day calls for something special. So we put together a boozy brunch menu that has this liquid gold in every course. Have your beer and drink it too!


There is soup in my beer

The Germans love beer so much, they even made a soup with it, but no one is complaining! The creamy cheddar cheese and beer broth is flavoured with sautéed garlic, onions and carrots. A dash of Dijon mustard adds plenty of spunk to it. Each mouthful of this delicious soup will only increase your love for beer.


Beer Batter Everything

You can literally dip any ingredient in a beer batter, fry it and be assured it is going to turn out crisp, light and beautiful. In this recipe we used simple oriental sauces, fresh spices, refined flour and of course beer to coat chunky prawns before deep frying them till they are golden brown and crisp. Serve hot with chilled beer!


Drunken Rice

Rice cooked in a flavourful beer broth with fresh veggies, chunks of chicken, prawns and shellfish – this recipe has all the ingredients of a fun party. Never has a one pot meal been more satisfying – you will only know how good this is once you try it, with some more beer on the side of course.


Beer Sundae

The best way to end any good brunch is with ice cream and when you make the ice cream with beer, it just gets better. This recipe requires just 4 simple ingredients and gives you a light creamy ice cream that we promise you is more satisfying than any beer ever will be.
