Shopping list:
1 kg dhokla batter
100 grams of corn kernels
1 small green capsicum
1 small red capsicum
1 small yellow capsicum
50 grams of cottage cheese
250 grams tendli
100 grams of walnuts
1 small packet of white sesame seeds
1 small bottle of sesame seed oil
1 fresh coconut
100 grams of jaggery
For faster preparation
For dhokla make the green chutney, process the vegetables. Make the dhoklas and set aside to cool. Once cooled then cut it with a round cutter and set aside Make the stuffing mixture ready but do not add salt to it. For sambhariya clean the tendli scrap the coconut. For lapsi grind ½ cup of grain sugar in mixer to a fine powder.
How to go about it
Start with the lapsi first by making the jaggery mixture and then adding the flour and ghee mixture to it. Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. Set aside to cool. Then finish sambhariya first by preparing the mixture of walnuts, coconut, salt, sugar and mint in a bowl. Then cook the tendli when it is ¾ done add the coconut mixture and further cook till done. Add salt to the stuffing of dhoklas mixture and then assemble the dhoklas with chutney and stuffing and grill it by giving the tempering of sesame seeds and mustard seeds.
