Get some more working space into your kitchen

A table in the kitchen is one extra surface to be used while preparing and serving.

Use whichever style best suits your décor.

  • The drop-leaf

This design has a fixed center with a hinged section (or leaf) on either side that can be folded down when not in use. This type of kitchen table is a definite good buy for smaller homes as it saves space as it can easily be folded up after each meal and pushed aside toward the wall.

  • The expandable

This design allows it to be pulled apart so that you can add an extra section in the middle. Excellent piece of furniture if you get unexpected guests for a meal as they can be accommodated without much of a fuss. Even while entertaining, this design is a blessing. Remove the extra section and push back the table together when you have finished the meal, saving more space in your kitchen or dining room.

  • The drawer

Those who are perfect organizers, love this design – a simple table with built-in drawers that can hold the essentials for dining like cutlery, napkins, napkin rings, coasters, place mats, candles, matches and of course, your household diary!

  • The island

Kitchen island is a god choice if you just do not have the space for a full fledged kitchen table. All you need are a few stools and voila, dining space is ready. Not only that, a kitchen island adds extra counter space for cooking and food preparation, and if you want you can have shelves and drawers built into it too.
