Ingredients for Watermelon aur Imli ka Salad Recipe

  • Watermelon peeled, seeded and cut into 1 inch pieces 1 medium

  • Tamarind Paste 2 tablespoons

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Black salt (kala namak) 1/4 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Red chilli flakes as required

  • Mint a few sprigs


Step 1

To make the dressing, blend tamarind paste, lemon juice, black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt and oil in a blender.

Step 2

Place the watermelon cubes in a bowl. Add the dressing and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer the salad in a serving bowl, sprinkle some chilli flakes, garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
