Ingredients for Kesar Elaichi Lassi Recipe

  • Yogurt whisked 4 cups

  • Saffron a few strands

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Warm milk 2/3 cup + tablespoon

  • Rose syrup 1 tablespoon

  • Powdered sugar 10 tablespoons

  • Ice cubes a few

  • Pedas crushed 4

  • Rabdi 4 tablespoons

  • Almonds slivered 10-12

  • Pistachios slivered 10-12


Step 1

Soak saffron in one tablespoon of warm milk and set aside.

Step 2

Combine yogurt and the remaining warm milk in a bowl and blend with a hand blender.

Step 3

Add green cardamom powder, rose syrup and powdered sugar and blend some more.

Step 4

Add saffron milk and mix. Add ice cubes and stir.

Step 5

Pour into individual glasses, add crushed pedas and rabdi on top. Garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios and serve chilled.
