Ingredients
- 250 grams apples cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 2 tablespoons aniseed (saunf) powder
- 2 tablespoons red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion seeds (kalonji)
- Salt to taste
- A pinch asafoetida
- 5 tablespoons oil
Method
- In a bowl Mix together apple and lemon juice. Now dry the apples for 2-3 days.
- Once the apples are dried, place them in a jar, add mustard powder, aniseed powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, coriander powder, salt, asafoetida and oil. Mix them well.
- Set aside for few hours and use.
