Pasta in Indian style

A hearty and flavorful pasta dish with spiced potatoes, capsicum, and a hint of butter, garnished with fresh coriander for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients 

  • 200 grams pasta, boiled
  • 1 small potato,boiled and cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 green capsicum. chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves 

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non stick kadai. Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.
  2. Add onions and saute till brown. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well.
  3. Add little water and cook for three minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes and capsicum and saute well for two minutes.
  5. Add potatoes, pasta and salt. Toss well.
  6. Finish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
