Apples, Lemon juice

  • Apples cut into 1 inch cubes
    250 grams
  • Lemon juice
    2 tablespoons
  • Mustard powder
    2 teaspoons
  • Aniseed (saunf) powder
    2 tablespoons
  • Red chilli powder
    2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder
    1 teaspoon
  • Fenugreek powder
    1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder
    1 teaspoon
  • Onion seeds (kalonji)
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Asafoetida
    a pinch
  • Oil
    5 tablespoons


Step 1

In a bowl Mix together apple and lemon juice. Now dry the apples for 2-3 days.

Step 2

Once the apples are dried, place them in a jar, add mustard powder, aniseed powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, coriander powder, salt, asafoetida and oil. Mix them well.

Step 3

Set aside for few hours and use.
