Ingredients for Watermelon and Shrikand Bites Recipe

  • Watermelon 1-inch 20-25

  • Hung Yogurt 1/2 cup

  • A few saffron strands

  • Rose syrup 3 tablespoons

  • Black pepper powder a pinch

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cream cheese 1 tablespoon

  • Powdered sugar 4 tablespoons

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnishing


Step 1

Dissolve saffron in 2 tbsps warm water.

Step 2

Mix together watermelon cubes, rose syrup, black pepper powder and ¼ tsp green cardamom powder in a bowl.

Step 3

To make the topping, mix together hung curd, cream cheese, sugar, saffron along with the water and the remaining green cardamom powder in another bowl. Transfer the topping into a piping bag with a star nozzle.

Step 4

Arrange the watermelon cubes onto a serving plate. Pipe the topping over the watermelon cubes. Top it with mint leaves. Pierce each piece with a toothpick and serve.
