Ingredients list for Papputu
- 1 cup Coarse rice flour
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Coconut,scraped
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- to taste Salt
Method
- Mix half cup of rice powder with three fourth cup of water and one fourth cup of milk.
- Add one fourth cup of coconut, half the green cardamom powder, half teaspoon of sugar and salt. Mix well and pour the mixture into a greased thali.
- Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients and pour into another greased thali.
- Steam for twenty minutes. Once set, cool and cut into squares or triangles. Serve with a curry of your choice.
