Gajar Aur Khajur Ka Halwa Recipe - How to make Gajar Aur Khajur Ka Halwa

  • Carrots grated10 medium

  • Dates seeded and chopped3/4 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Skimmed milk 2 cups

  • Cashewnuts roughly chopped8-10

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ghee 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat a kadai. Add grated carrots and sugar and cook for about five minutes.

Step 2

Add milk and continue to cook. Add dates, cashewnuts, green cardamom powder and mix.

Step 3

Cook for ten to fifteen minutes. When dry and cooked add ghee. Mix well. Serve hot.
