By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ladyfingers (bhindi), Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Bhindi Curry 200 grams Ladyfingers (bhindi) cut 500 grams Yogurt 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 8 Curry leaves 1/2 Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Ginger paste 1 teaspoon Garlic paste 3 teaspoons Mustard oil 1/4 cup Gram flour (besan) a big pinc Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Green chilli paste to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a non stick pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.Allow it to splutter. Add cumin seeds, ginger and garlic paste. Saute for two minutes. Add lady fingers and sauté for five minutes. Cover and cook till soft. In a bowl whisk yogurt, add gram flour and three cups water. Whisk till smooth. Add the liquid to the lady fingers, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, green chilli paste and salt. Mix well. Allow the mixture to boil and thicken.
