Aloo Ka Bharta Recipe - How to make Aloo Ka Bharta


Prep Time : 11-15 minutes

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

  • Potatoes boiled , peeled and mashed7-8 medium

  • Mustard oil 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Green garlic chopped3-4 cloves

  • Green chillies chopped2-3

  • Spring onions chopped3

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Spring onion greens chopped2 stalks


Step 1

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Add cumin seeds, green garlic and green chillies and sauté for a minute. Allow the tempering to cool.

Step 3

In a bowl mix mashed potatoes with spring onions. Add the tempering and mix well.

Step 4

Add salt, red chilli powder and mix well.

Step 5

Add spring onion greens, mix and serve.
