Ingredients for Teatime Cardamon Cake Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Eggs 3

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1/2 cup

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Butter 1/2 cup + for greasing

  • Milk 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Sieve refined flour, baking powder and green cardamom powder into a bowl.

Step 2

Grease a cake tin and set aside. Break eggs into another bowl. Add sugar and beat till sugar mixes properly. Add vanilla essence and mix.

Step 3

Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
