Spicy Hot Chocolate  Recipe

Spicy Hot Chocolate

Main Ingredients

cinnamon powder, fresh red chilli

  • cinnamon powder
    ½ teaspoon
  • fresh red chilli deseeded and slit
  • melted dark chocolate + for lining
    ¼ cup + fo cup
  • soy milk
  • coffee powder
    ½ tablespoon
  • vanilla extract
    ½ teaspoon
  • pinch salt
  • castor sugar (caster sugar)
    2 tablespoons
  • brandy
    8 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat soy milk and ¼ cup melted chocolate in a deep non-stick pan. Stir well.

Step 2

Add coffee powder, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract and red chilli. Stir to mix.

Step 3

Add salt and mix well. Cook for a minute and discard the chilli.

Step 4

Line the inside of 4 individual glasses with a little melted chocolate and set aside.

Step 5

Add castor sugar in the pan and mix well.

Step 6

Pour the drink into the prepared individual glasses.

Step 7

Heat a metal spoon. Add 2 tbsps brandy in it and let it flambé. Pour it on one glass. Repeat the procedure for the remaining 3 glasses.

Step 8

Serve immediately.
