Ingredients list for Quick Gajjak
- 1 cup Noodles boiled
- 1 cup Jaggery grated
- a pinch Baking soda
- to deep fry Oil
- 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 2-3 tablespoons dried fruits (pistachios, almonds and cashewnuts) chopped
Method
- Chop the boiled noodles. Melt jaggery in a non stick pan on low heat.
- Mix baking soda with water in a bowl.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the noodles till crisp and golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper. Add ghee to the jaggery and mix well.
- Add cardamom powder and dried fruits and mix well. Sprinkle soda water over the mixture.
- Add the fried noodles and mix well. Garnish with remaining dried fruits and serve.
