By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Coarse rice flour, Milk Cuisine Karnataka Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Papputu 1 cup Coarse rice flour 1/2 cup Milk 1/2 cup Coconut,scraped 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon Sugar to taste Salt Method Advertisment Mix half cup of rice powder with three fourth cup of water and one fourth cup of milk. Add one fourth cup of coconut, half the green cardamom powder, half teaspoon of sugar and salt. Mix well and pour the mixture into a greased thali. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients and pour into another greased thali. Steam for twenty minutes. Once set, cool and cut into squares or triangles. Serve with a curry of your choice.
